Please help support the Growth of FCY Battlemech Moldes

Currently, FCY/Battlemech Models is branching out to do limited casting. There is, however, a learning curve. Resin, rubber, equipment, supplies and time all add up to a lot of money. That being said, I am asking the Large Scale Mech community for support.

"Why should I donate my hard earned money?"

While there are no immediate, tangible gains there WILL be in the near future. The large scale, detailed kits will still go to the professional casters but this gives me the option to start offering smaller, limited runs of kits as well as detail/option parts and off the wall stuff like armor and turrets for terrain. It will also reduce costs of the smaller run kits significantly.

So, if you can help out it would be greatly appreciated. Soon I will start posting pics of my molding/casting ventures.

The "Support" link is to the right.

Thank you in advance!

Quick Update

The Kodiak is at the caster's....has been; but as I said in the pre-order, this is a big, complicated kit.  There can be no rushing it. Be patient...you will be rewarded.

Also, there is a Wasp/Stinger kit on the horizon.  It will have parts to make either mech.

Finally, another commission I am working on...the Raven!

Kodiak from Mechwarrior Online

CLOSED!  The pre-order has reached the maximum number and is currently on order-stop.  Check back for updates.

There are now TONS of files out there for the Mechwarrior Online mechs.  Based on those I had some parts printed using a Formlabs 2 printer...did lots of clean-up work...made/remade some parts.  Now, it is going to be available as a kit.  I am selling a limited number of casts...pretty much to cover all the costs of  working on this thing for almost 2 years.  If you are interested in this pre-order, please e-mail me for details.

Lack of Updates

Let me apologize for the lack of updates.  I had my final arm surgery about 4 weeks ago and things are slowly returning to normal...although the surgeon said it could be six months before my arms are back to normal.  Generally, they don't like doing surgery on both arms in such a short period, but with the primary job situation I had to get it done while I still had insurance.

Anyway, there has actually been a lot going on that I have not shared publicly.  A few commission pieces have been completed and either cast or are being cast.   I finished a TRO style Archer and Orion.  Currently I am working on a Thug, a Wasp, and a Stalker...all TRO style for customers.  I am also working to try and get the Fafnir funded again.

As for the Marketplace...I have very few kits in stock.  I am trying to clear out the old stuff and start with new kits.

Here are a few pics of what I have been working on.  Enjoy!

Say What?

Hi all.  Something went wonky with Blogger this week.  I started receiving e-mails from many of you asking for the Atlas kit.  After a little investigation it would appear that Blogger sent out a notification about a new post but the post was from 2016.  I have no idea as to why this happened, but I wanted you all to know about the mistake. I am sorry for the confusion...and m surprised how many of you still want the Atlas.

Currently I am finishing up a customer commission for a TRO style Orion. After that I am working on a TRO Thug and a TRO Wasp.  There are lots of other projects in the works so stay tuned.

Absence

Good day everyone.  Sorry for the absence.  I had to have surgery on my elbow to repair some ligament damage.  That meant no model building for the past month or so. Heck, I could hardly type. Somehow, in the process of moving I damaged both elbows and a rotator cuff.  In a nutshell, model building is going to be slow going this year.  Stay tuned...there are still some projects in the pipe.
