Bushwacker

Pics of the Bushwacker commission for your viewing pleasure on this rainy spring evening.

There will also be a machine gun in the chin

I hate the original "cross" LRM so the buyer allowed me to use the MW4 design.

All I can do is apologize...

...for the delays with the Mad Cat MK II.  When I did the masters, I focused on ease of casting.  All indications were that it should be a quick job.  That was in early February.  Here we are in late April and there are still no kits...no pics...no sample kit (that I was supposed to get a couple weeks ago).   I am beyond flustered.

And I am very, very sorry for the delays.

Going to the Caster....

The Uziel is going to the caster this week. Since you will ask...no.  There will be no pics of it assembled.  This is because if I do it, then I have to disassemble it and make sure there is no glue residue or anything. Also, there are some parts I only made one copy of (toes) and the caster will replicate enough for each kit.

Now, what I will post later are pics of the Bushwacker.  I was not happy with the legs, so I had MMD do some leg layouts for me.  Those should be in soon.  The torso of the Bushy is coming along nicely, if I do say so myself.  Stay tuned.

And on another note...how the hell do I compete with 3D printing?  Do I see the end of BMC in the future?

Another week gone...

You know, I HATE Internet Explorer.  I upgraded to IE 11 and it does not like Blogger...and since I deleted Firefox, I may have to go back to IE 10.

Just spoke to the caster at length.  He is dedicating this week to the Mad Cat MK II.  Soon, everyone...soon. As always, your patience is appreciated.  Really, though....from his perspective...he did not get it until the second week of February and could not start until the end of February. But, since we paid in late January, our clocks have been ticking longer.

The Uziel is about done and is going to go to the caster this week.  Can you say "Heck Yeah!"  I grow weary of the stress of pre-orders...I may just pay out of pocket and try to recoup my funds.  The downside...no special pre-order pricing.  Do you mind the wait to get the pre-order specials I have been offering?  The Uziel will be around the same price as the Vulture MK II...a little less resin, but lots more smaller pieces and that means more labor.

Also, I have decided on my summer offering.  Since we did the Vulture MK II last summer, how about the MK IV this summer?

Update

The caster was suppose to have a copy of the MadCat MK II kit to me this week for review...but...

UPDATE: Heard from the caster this morning.  There are a few pieces that are being problematic and have required some tweaking.  He is working though. I know, I know...I am going nuts waiting as well.

The Uziel is coming along nicely. Caster will get a quote together this weekend.
