I have received the second round of Cougars. There are only five in this run and two have already been purchased. If you are interested in one of the remaining three, please e-mail me.
On another note, work on the Macke has slowed. When I mess up, I start loosing interest. This one I scaled wrong...a fairly regular issue. It is going to be too large for a 1/60 scale mech.
Then, there is the tragedy. I dropped the Masakari...I tried placing it on the upstairs banister for a moment to get some other things I was going to paint. Somehow, I whacked it and down she went...easily 15-20 feet...but I gotta say, when it hit the floor it was an impressive explosion. The torso and arms have been rebuilt and the legs are completely salvageable. I am glad I reinforce these with foam or resin. If this had been a hollow plastic build, I would hate to see how bad it could have been.

Cougar & New Build
Hi all. First off...the Cougar. I have heard from a couple of you about the torso resin being a bit soft compare to the rest of the kit. I asked the caster and he has told me that for the rotocasting, they use a different formula and it is a bit softer than the other resin. So, be easy when sanding on the torso. I do appologize for the late notice...but I just found out about this.
Also, I am working on the Mackie...the Father of all mechs. I was asked to do a tutorial and I have posted my progress here: http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?p=948470#post948470

Highlander by SMTK
SMTKelly over in England sent me a copy of his Highlander kit. I have to say the laser cut styrene makes a difference. The detail is so crisp! Needless to say, I had to mod mine a bit...added a hand, scribed some extra lines, added more armor to the torso and I am working on the "prong thingy" to go on the other arm. Here is where it stands now...

Masakari Update
The Masakari is almost done...although the arms are giving me fits! I made some kick-ass PPCs and lower arms, but the upper arm looks feeble...going to have to work on that. Today I finished up the main body, and balanced it on the legs (it will connect using magnets when done). The question was asked about the LRM-10 in the Prime config...was I going to go TRO shoulder mount or MW4 integrated into the upper torso. Originally, I was going to go MW4 but I forgot to do it so I made a shoulder omni-mount and modified an Armorcast LRM-20. Right now, she stands about 9" tall.
Thana-toes?
I always thought the toes on my Thanatos looked a little puny for the mech...so I decided to beef them up some.

Masakari Test fit
So, once again the heat has me indoors today. My wife took our son to the YMCA to swimg and I decided to shoot some primer and some pics. I went with the hip section TRO style, but I am not sure I like it...I may make a MW4 style one and see which one I like....
