Thunderbolt Build Notes

Before assembly it is advised you wash all parts in warm water with a mildly abrasive cleanser such as Softscrub or Bar Keepers Friend. Trim all flash with a sharp razor knife.  It is strongly advised you test fit all parts prior to assembly.  Quick-set CA is my glue of choice.

Here is what you should receive:

There is also a bag with two hands that I failed to include in the picture above. The feet and lower legs are bilaterally symmetrical so don't worry about which is which. The ankles, knees and hips have ball and socket joints allowing for posability.

Lower Body Assembled

Here are the upper arm parts. There are two shoulder tabs. The one with the blue dot goes on the LRM side of the torso.

Notice the squared raised areas. This is where the shoulder pauldrons are designed to sit.

The gun arm is designed with a pin and hole set-up so you know exactly where the large laser attaches.

The LRM is the standard LRM 10 I initially had but I have included an additional LRM 15 cap and and optional vent back end.

Finally, there is a small bag that contains the SRM 2 and a bunch of detail parts. Most of the parts are extras for you incase you want to detail it more. The outlined area is where the SRM mounts.

There is one major flaw in the casting. There is a detail part that ended up with a mold line through it. On some of the kits it is fine. Some kits are problematic such as the one pictured below. This one is one of the worst and will not be shipped.

There are 2 of those detail parts so you can simply sand off the funky part and replace it with the included replacement parts.

If you have questions feel free to post them on the Facebook page.  Enjoy your Thunderbolt and thanks for your support!
