Project Dervish is coming along nicely, if I do say so myself. It will be a touch taller than the Uziel...scale wise it works well. Right now I think the lower legs are a bit fat...I may thin them up a bit. This one is going to have a lot of ball & socket set-ups...but not the shallow ones like on the Madcat MK II but rather real balls & sockets. I am planning them for the shoulder, hip, and ankle. The cockpit is a bitch because of the curves, but I think I have the basic shape right at the moment.

Bushy and Madcat MK II stuff....
Alrighty you louses. The Bushwacker pre-order is still going. To date I have ONE pre-order. Really?
The chap that did the unbox video has completed his build. The video is here.
He has also created a gallery of pics here. Awesome fricking build! I may have to post pics of my build too.
Stay tuned for an update in the next couple days. Project DERVISH is coming along nicely. I may kit his just so I can have one.

Bushwacker Pre-Order Closed
The Bushwacker is now available for pre-order. The pre-order will be done like the Madcat MK II...by number sold rather than a certain amount of time. There are going to be 15 pre-order slots available. Once they are gone, they are gone. Now, I am using the Back-up caster and his costs are about 15% higher than the usual guy. On the other hand, he said he can have it done in about 4 weeks. I am taking a huge gamble on this one and going significantly "out of pocket."
The Bushwacker pre-order price will be $125 for domestic orders and $140 for international orders. This includes shipping and handling and insurance (on domestic orders).

Strangely silent...maybe this will spur conversation.
The Madcat MK II kits and the Uziel kits have all been shipped and should be in peoples hands...yet there is a strange silence that has befallen this blog. Odd....maybe this will spark some interest.
A client is having me build a Madcat MK II with TRO style LRM launchers. I was going to cast them myself, but for the cost of the resin and rubber (adding in the number of screw-ups I know I will make) I have decided to have the caster do a set. What would you say to these being offered in the Marketplace as an option piece? They would be $30 shipped domestically (which is on par with the Armorcast LRMs).

Building the Madcat
Scott over at the Messy Desk blog is building a Madcat MK II. Great minds think alike as he is building his the exact same way I am building mine for a customer (pinning, magnets, etc).
Check out Part 1
and
Part 2.
While Scott toils away on his, Preston is tormenting himself by hollowing out the MadCat MK II to include a cockpit. Check out his video. Oh, it's pronounced Fuss-ko. Person of Interest got it right.
Then go to the Marketplace and buy one! Its worth every penny!
Summer Jump Start: This will close the end of June. We will only draw for the kit if we hit 20 donations.
