Good Day Everyone. Here is a quick update of what is going on here at Battlemech Models. I have several commissions in the works including a Battlemaster and Assassin.
I am taking pre-orders on the 1/60 (28mm) Stalker. It will run $175 plus shipping. It is a big, heavy kit!
I have also finally finished the 11" Annihilator. It will also run $175 plus shipping.

Battletech MWO Commando For Sale
I was experimenting with the 3D printer and some MWO models. Man, these designs are just so bulky. I printed it so it would be the same height as my Classic Commando but it's bulk makes it seem bigger. It's about 7" tall...or about 18cm.
I was going to eBay it but I figured I would give you guys first crack at it. The mech has magnets at the hips and shoulders but the legs are static. They can be removed for painting.
Let's treat this like a mystery box. If interested, just PM me with your bid. High bidder will be notified by Friday.

Another Overdue Update
Hey all...yet again a long time between updates. There has actually been a lot going on both good and bad.
The "Beer Flu" (can't say the 'c' word) has really affected business. Lots of order cancellations...and I can't say I blame people. Schools have been closed so there has been a lot of home schooling. Toilet paper can't be found in any store...not sure why people are hoarding toilet paper for a respiratory flu.
Personally, I have been battling a deep funk...can't seem to shake it.
I invested in an AnyCubic Photon S 3D printer with a lot of support from a patron. It worked for about 2 months before the cooling fan died, then the LCD died, now the touch screen has crapped out. Overall it has turned out to be a piece of shite. I then invested in an Elegoo Mars and couldn't be happier.
MECHS
Two commissions are in progress at this time. There is a Stalker that is going to have elements from the MWO version and the Classic and the Stalker II. Here are some pics....
RANDOM STUFF
With the 3D printer, I can finally have ships I always wanted. I have made a couple Macross ships and one from a video game. Nice.
And since all the restaurants and stores were closed during our anniversary, I decided to give my wife a Corona...she wasn't amused.

I also made an Urbanmech. Unfortunately, when I created a poll on the Facebook page to gauge potential buyers, only a couple people were interested so the Urbie is going into a box and in the closet.
I tried 3D printing a Shilone Aerotech fighter but it came out closer to 1/100 scale. No one, again, seemed interested so that is back in a box.
Then I moved on to a vanity project...the Mackie. I was 3D printing one based on the drawing below. However, when I posted pictures of the progress of my print I was contacted by a 3D artist asking where I got the files. When I told him he was able to show me that the 3D file I had was one he created that one time use type of thing and the person I commissioned to do it had no permission to share the file so yet another project shelved.
OTHER WORK
I was commissioned to do some 3D prints for the Fallout table top game. I printed an APC for a client and I also printed and molded/cast some kind of car based on a file the client sent. I have a couple copies of the sedan if anyone is interested.

Finally, if anyone comes across this kit, let me know. It is a Grail Kit of mine and I can't find it anywhere....

Long time, no update...
Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lack of updates. There is a lot going on and it's often easier to just update Facebook than try to update this blog. This site is being uncooperative of late...I can be in the middle of posting and the site will drop out and I lose everything. Additionally, there has been an illness in the family and those responsibilities have limited my time in the shop.
Here is an update of where things are:
1. All Fafnir and Catapult pre-orders have long since shipped. Currently, I am casting recent orders for the Catapult and a few others.
2. The Stalker commission is underway. Look for a pre-order in a month or so.
3. The Atlas and Templar are being permanently retired. The largest of the molds are tearing and at this stage the ROI makes remolding non-feasible.
Here is a list of what is currently available for order:
Galleon Light Tank
Sagittaire
Owens
Vulture MK IV
Nova Cat
Mad Cat MK II
Kodiak
Classic Centurion
Classic Commando
Classic Dragon
Classic Orion
Classic Clint
Shadow Cat
Stay Tuned for more!

Merry Christmas
This will probably be my last post of the year, so I would like to wish all my fellow Mechwarriors a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
May your ammo bins be full, your PPCs charged and your heat sinks fully functional!

December Update
Folks, I have been casting and casting and casting....hell, I have had nightmares about casting. The up side is that Fafnirs are going out. I have completed and shipped over half the pre-orders. They are being shipped in the order the invoices were paid. So, those that paid in early August are getting theirs first, those that paid in September are getting theirs last with a couple exceptions. International orders...shipping is crazy this time of year with the Christmas holiday and whatnot. Unless any of you objections I would like to wait until after the holidays to ship yours. If this is an issue for you, please shoot me an e-mail.
Also, there are some brief build notes being published. Most of the kit is self-explanatory but there are a few things that need some clarification.
Keep on building, mechwarriors.

It's been a while...Update!
Sorry it has been so long since I updated this blog. I tend to put messages on Facebook and forget there are many who do not follow me there...just here.
As always, there are bumps in the road. A month ago my caster contacted me to let me know that life has dealt him a bad hand. I wont share all the details here...it's not my place. What I will share in what that means for you all.
The Fafnir: When he contacted me he had not yet finished the molds...after 3 months. He definitely was not going to be able to cast the kits until sometime in 2020. He decided it was best to hand the Fafnir molds off to me and just let me cast them. In addition to the Fafnir molds, he wanted me to get ALL my mold sets from him. My wife and I had to rent an SUV, drive 12 hours, load the truck, get some sleep and drive all the way back...all between when she got off work Friday and had to be back at work Monday morning.
The Catapult: The caster was going to do this one right after the Fafnir...but that was when he thought the Fafnir would be done by the end of October. There is no way he could get to the Catapult until probably spring. That is unacceptable to keep the client waiting that long so it is going to fall on me to mold/cast that one as well.
Here is where the wicket gets sticky. My operation is set up to for my primary focus...scratch building. Secondarily is the molding and casting of the mechs. My molding/casting operation is fairly small compare to the regular guy I use for the large jobs. He has a giant compressor, 4 pots and a whole workshop. I have a small compressor, a small pot, and a spare room I work out of.
It is going to take time. I have managed to complete 2 Fafnir kits and they will go out to the client this week. Between now and the end of the year my sole focus is going to be casting Fafnir kits and molding the Catapult for casting.
On the up side, since I now have more molds and am doing SOOOOOOO much casting I can wiggle in some other casting jobs at the same time. Here is what is currently available:
