A while back I posted about the Battletech Toys I remember...and not the Tyco nonsense. I recently got a post from Brian over at Brain's Cache with info about the toys...and some pics. The company was called reSaurus Toys and soon after showing these off at the 2001 Toy Fair, the company crashed and discontinued plans for B-tech stuff. Anyway, thanks to Brian for the info and pics...and for proving I wasn't crazy!

Daishi Kits
Good Day All! I got word from the caster that the Daishi molds are holding up well and we can probably pull another 10 kits before closing the line. Anyone interested?

Sam's Mechs
I somehow lost this e-mail from January 2012...until today. BMC follower Sam sent some pics of a couple of his builds. Enjoy!

Project: Vulture Mk II
Coming soon from BMC, the Vulture Mark II. This is the prototype I mentioned in a previous blog. The current owner is going to send it to me to see if there are any tweaks that need to be made and to make some arms for it. Then, we will open a pre-order. If we get the requisite 15 Pre-paid orders, the production will begin. For those unsure of the system, with the new caster I have to do runs of 20 minimum. If I get 15 pre-orders, I cover the other 5 and we move into production.
Generally, I steer away from mechs that have already been done...like the Armorcast Vulture, but this one is just too cool and unique to pass up.
So, if you are interested please post a comment and let me know. Expect pricing and pre-order info in the next few weeks.

The Big Bonus Reveal
During the Victor pre-order, I said I was working on something special for my repeat customers. There is a handful of you who have been super supportive as I have struggled to get these mechs into production.
Switch gears. I need to introduce David White...an illustrator and mecha-master. He designed a lot of the mechs for Mechwarrior 4: Mercs...including the Victor. He is also a bit of a fan of the mechs Scott and I produce...especially when they are mechs he (re)designed. I contacted him about the Victor and doing something special for those who had prepaid for the Cougar, the Daishi, and now the Victor. David pulled out his original marker drawings of the Victor, scanned them into his computer and printed them out on HQ 8*10 sheets and signed each one. So, my regulars will be getting 8*10 prints of the artwork that inspired the model...signed by David himself. I think that is just pretty damn cool. Below is an example...actual print will vary.

Final Four Daishi
UPDATE: All have been spoken for. Hope you got one while you could...
After all pre-orders have been filled, I have 4 more Daishi kits. These are going for $135 plus shipping. The kit stands about 9.5" tall (about 24cm) and is 1/60 scale. As of right now, there will be no more Daishi kits cast after these go. If you want one, please contact me at timfusco@hotmail.com.
