A picture is worth a thousand words....

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words.  If that is true, then here are a few thousand words for you...starting with "awesome".

44,000

Wow!  If I read the stats right, we just recently broke the 44K unique page view mark.  That is incredible and very humbling.  Thanks to all who have been following me and my works.

The Vulture is going to the caster this week.  He has been swamped with work for Wonderfest and I did not want the masters just sitting in a workshop.  He still has not been able to provide me with a quote on this one so I am probably just going to pay for the castings out of pocket rather than do a pre-order.  Also, with the issues with the last two pre-orders I may shy away from them all together. He said he should be able to get it done by the end of June.

The Fafnir.  Man-oh-man...every time I fit the pieces together all I can think is, "I'ma firin my lazor, Bitches!"  Sorry for the bad language...its just funny that the B word is what pops into my head.  This thing is going to be awesome.  I should have some pics this weekend.

Also, I am going to post a quicky conversion of the Victor's arm to remove the hand and add a laser to make it more MW4-ish.

Victor

Well, I have to give it to JPG Productions...he came through in a huge way and got the replacement parts to me in record time.  All but one kit has gone out...I have to send one to the UK and overseas shipping is a pain in the arse...and expensive.  That one will go out later in the week.  Also, note that I have added a "Marketplace" page where I will be posting all the kits for sale. Here are some pics of a Victor I quickly assembled....no real touch-ups on this one...just CA glue.

Holding Pattern

I am still waiting on the replacement Victor parts, unfortunately Wonderfest is right around the corner so just about every caster, JPG included, are working full tilt.   As soon as they get here, the remaining kits will be shipped.

When the Daishi was shipped to me by the caster, they put one complete kit in a bag and I trusted all was well.  Unfortunately, a lot of those kits were missing pieces.  To avoid that this time, I have personally packed every kit individually to avoid the missing parts issue.

So, what's going on now?  Still trying to get quotes on the Vulture. Yes, that will be the next kit.  The Fafnir is coming along quite nicely.  Maybe some pics will go up this week.

UPDATE: The first of theVictors is here!!!!

UPDATE:  I am still waiting on box 2.  Tracking shows it sitting in the Memphis sort facility since Sunday for some reason.  Honestly, I am having more and more issues with the USPS lately. They rarely have supplies on-site and their shipping processes are whacked.  I shipped a package recently and it took several weeks via priority mail to get to South Carolina from Tennessee.  I could get no explanation.  Another was not delivered as the postal carrier could not determine if the addy as written was 816 or 616. It took almost a month for that one to get back to me. Geez....

Alright, the caster sent the Victors in two boxes and one arrived yesterday.  The other box should be here by Tuesday.  As always, I ship in the order people paid so those that paid in January (damn ya'll are patient) will get theirs first.

If the box gets here Monday, I will try to get them packed and ready.  If it gets here Tuesday, then kits won't go out until Friday.  Tuesday I will be at the hospital all day (the cancer thing...annual checks) and Wednesday & Thursday I teach classes all day.

That being said, as always I thank you for your patience.  The caster assures me that if I do another kit with him he will be faster next time.  He was overwhelmed with orders as Wonderfest is in May.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh, the pieces look AWESOME!

Frickidy Frick!

So, as a bonus for my regular pre-order customers I got David White to make some Victor prints.  I figured while we are waiting on the kits I would go ahead and mail these out.  Unfortunately, the padded envelopes I purchased are too small. They say 8.5*11 inside dimensions, but I think that is before adding the protective layer. A normal letter size piece of paper would not even fit, let alone the print sealed in a protective sleeve.

UPDATE:  The 10 regular pre-order customers should be getting their prints in a couple days, except the overseas customers...about a week for them.

Daishi Pics

I ordered a few more Daishi kits.  The caster says we can get a few more out of the molds and then the Daishi line will be closed.  Here are some pics of the pieces and of the pieces quickly tacked together with CA glue. Cost is $135.00 plus shipping.  Contact: timfusco@hotmail.com
